Rizwan “Riz” Awwal is a serial entrepreneur and game-changing digital marketing strategist. He currently runs GET SOCIAL, an agency offering online marketing solutions to startups and Fortune 500 companies alike. Riz is passionate about helping marketing teams and fellow entrepreneurs articulate and deliver a brand’s vision through best practices in celebrity appearances, content development and talent management.
Riz is a digital native, with over two decades of experience successfully amplifying brands across a number of sectors including nutraceuticals, fitness, and hospitality (restaurants, hotels, lounges, and nightclubs). As a Creative Director, he has built a strong track record of success managing quality digital content for his customers which includes photography, videography, and graphic design. Additionally, his exceptional curiosity for new ways to effectively reach a brand’s customers and his networking prowess have led Riz to create a PR and talent management arm of his business offering. This includes organizing celebrity appearances, event & expo activations and influencer management. With his omnichannel skillset, Riz and his conglomerate of companies have all the tools required to successfully drive online awareness, customer loyalty and conversions while increasing revenue for clients.
Providing value is at the core of Rizwan’s personal philosophy and has guided his life as a member of the community, an entrepreneur, marketing leader, colleague and friend.
Riz currently spreads his time between residences in New Jersey and California. He is inspired by traveling and enjoys writing in his journal. His biggest fulfillment is playing with his fur babies Ziggy and Ozzy in his free time along with dreaming up his next entrepreneurial venture.
